About Naomi:

Naomi Jasmine Demonte was born in Brooklyn, New York on May, 18th 1993 from Miracle V. Growing up Naomi went to a high-school that encouraged self-expression. Naomi still thanks her principal Alex White for the way that impacted her life. She had classes like hiphop history and learned about the city, going to different museums and early on, that helped her calm her anxiety and allowed her comfort in the city she was born to. Naomi learned she had a passion for art and writing during high-school. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY taught Naomi the importance of community and making a positive impact on her community and life. She didn’t live in a place filled with peace yet love filled her. Everyday she saw her community working hard to make nothing out of something. At times, she saw lives be taken by gun violence. Naomi was raised by Miracle V. and her step-father Eric Diaz. They taught her to be strong, to be a good friend, to express herself and to be resilient because that is who they are. During the years 2009-2011, Naomi began an advice column on her tumblr blog “ognayhomie.tumblr.com” where she began giving advice to anyone that messaged her. It was a way of her encouraging those struggling with no way to cope or having any outlets. Soon after, her graduating high-school she began to struggle with internal depression, fear of the future and anxiety. A big anchor of hope and help for Naomi was her aunt Ivette, who placed her in Momentum Education. Momentum was a huge impact that helped free Naomi of doubt. Momentum and Ivette helped bring freedom within Naomi, she began to heal. In 2015, Naomi created Sprout Your Mind, which consisted of affirmations to push others forward in moments of darkness. It allowed Naomi to be a voice of reason, a light, for those struggling. She began encouraging others through hand-written letters in every single package. Curating the art on her iPad than began making shirts and hoodies. Naomi was set on helping those who came across her through Sprout Your Mind with words of encouragement to those suffering. Sprout Your Mind is Naomi’s way to cope and shine light on those who’ve forgotten their own. Shortly after, Naomi’s step father passed away May 16th, 2016, rest in love Eric, which became one of Naomi’s pivotal and hardest moments of her life. She began to work harder on sprout your mind resulting in over 1,000 packages delivered around the world. In the mist of it all, Naomi stopped creating for a time to grieve and process all the loss that year. Including her dad and many friendships she valued. Depression, fear and anxiety was at an all time high. The most fear she ever faced in her life was upon her, It almost felt as though darkness became Naomi’s bestfriend. Days became harder and darker for her. Naomi continued to fight every day of her life to be reminded of the light she had within. In and out of hospitals Naomi began her process of self-realization and who she was. Each time she fought hard and little by little began to create again. Naomi learned how powerful the mind is and how powerful it is to speak words worth listening to, also to yourself. Naomi learned through every stage of her life that love and light comes in many different shapes and forms but that the most important thing to focus on is love and positivity. Naomi learned the importance of Mental Health Awareness, self love, self awareness and having faith and regained the strength to create and continue creating now beginning her newer journey. First by, curating affirmations on something Naomi calls “all things with love denim.” Where she hand-paints on to denim products so that others can continue to PAY POSITIVITY FORWARD. This coming year is special year for Naomi as she premieres her new collection oSprout Your Mind products in 2025. Now bringing our community new affirmations with a collection called “Internally Y(our)s.”, consisting of 8 new affirmations (coming this 5/5/25) 🌱each affirmation, color and number having a meaning.

It has taken Naomi Jasmine Demonte Approximately 29 years to know and fully learn of her inner light and strength. Remember time is a construct, your light is infinite.
“Healing takes time, Naomi encourages everyone to NEVER GIVE UP.

“On the other side of FEAR is FAITH. Times may be difficult but the power you have within is able to move mountains. Never forget to Sprout Your Mind, focus on positivity internally and externally. Find different ways to heal through coping mechanisms and truly identifying what love means to you.”
Naomi prays you all find the light you have within yourself even if it’s as small as a mustard seed and allow it to continue to ignite as the frequency is meant to. Remember
love is an action and a choice.

Sprout Your Mind,

with love, Naomi
